Hi All,
It’s been a while, and I also see that Substack has been through some serious changes since my last visit. Interesting…
Anyway - most of you already know, but I just want to make sure you are all informed:
I left my previous job and I started my own thing (again). This time it’s not a startup, at least not a classic tech one. It’s a training platform for all-things product related.
I call it ‘Effective Product Management’ and you view the site here:
Knowledge Base - Get smarter - Effective Product Management
I took me some time to realize what exactly I’m offering to the world here and after a while I came to conclusion it comes down to 3 pillars:
Knowledge base - which is free and accessible to all. This is where the link above is leading you to.
Services - where I work with companies to increase the quality of their product team. It could via my ‘integrated onboarding’ where I teach junior PMs the hands on aspect or the job, it can be via 1:1 mentoring of designated PMs or even through offering cross company processes that will benefit the team as a whole.
Courses - Live courses and pre-recorded courses. Currently I’m offering only one (how to write a PRD), but I’m gonna heavily invest here in the near future
I have a great vision for my venture, tons of ideas and I’m aiming for the sky. Let’s see how it goes :-)
Anyway - the reason I’m writing today is to tell you that I’m going to resume my newsletter. However, it’s not going to be on this platform. I am going to have much more control over every aspect of my business, including the newsletter, and Substack just doesn’t provide me with the control I’m looking for (various lists, automations, segmentations and so forth).
Hence, the newsletter is going to be managed directly from the backend of my site and I’m gonna start fresh.
You all have been terrific subscribers and none of you unsubscribed. Maybe it’s because most of you knew me personally and didn’t feel comfortable? :-)
So look - I’m not going to transfer any of you to my new newsletter by default. You’ll have to opt-in by explicit choice via my site (link below).
This is your chance to bail out quietly if you don’t wish to stay subscribed… simply by doing nothing. If I ever ask - just tell me that you missed this mail… (but don’t worry.. I’m not going to ask :-)).
You can subscribe to my newsletter via pretty much any of the pages on my site. Just scroll to the bottom. Here, you can even use the same one from before:
Knowledge Base - Get smarter - Effective Product Management
So thank you for being such amazing subscribers - and I’m hoping to see some of you on the other side.
Cheers,
Nati
Love it! People would be lucky to learn from you. Subscribing to the newsletter now :)
